OODUA PROGRESSIVE UNION WORLDWIDE
Oodua Progressive Union (OPU) is a pan Yoruba organization formed by Iba (Dr.) Gani Abiodun Ige Adams the 15th Aare Ona Kakanfo of Yorubaland in 2011 to create an enabling platform for all the sons and daughters of Oduduwa in Diaspora. Oodua Progressive Union (OPU) is a non-governmental, non-religious organization, formed to foster unity among the Yoruba race and provide a platform for all Yoruba sons and daughters in Diaspora to Work for the common interest of Yorubaland.
To create an enabling economically viable platform, promoting peace, unity and harmonious existence among all Yoruba sons and daughters in Diaspora, through a reawakening and strengthening of huge culturally diverse and ancestral heritage of Yoruba nation with ideas ,consolidation and working together for the common interest of the Yoruba race.
